Arriving from Brenner Pass
Follow the A22 highway from Brenner Pass into the direction of Bozen.
Use the exit of Bozen Süd and follow the signages into the direction of Meran. You will reach the MEBO freeway (SS38), which leads you directly to the city of Meran.
Leave the MEBO freeway at the exit Meran South (Sinich) and follow the roads SP117 and SP8 to the public street SS44, which leads you to the direction of Jaufen Pass.
Still following the signage into the direction of Jaufen Pass you will reach the intersection (traffic island) of Dorf Tirol.
You have to turn left there and drive up onto the hill of Dorf Tirol.
At the large junction, where the tourist office is located, turn right into Aichweg (Via Aica).
After approx. 250 m pass the St. Rupert Church and turn first to the right and then immediately to the left into the Aichweg (Via Aica) to the Pension-Garni Anita.
Arriving from Reschenpass (Vinschgau)
From Reschenpass always follow the Val Venosta road towards Merano.
From Töll-Forst (brewery) follow the bypass Meran - Bolzano until the exit Meran South (Sinich).
From this point take the way which is described in the section „Arriving from Brenner Pass“.
Alternative way through Merano:: Navigation systems or Google Maps will probably suggest the route shown here, which will lead to the SS44 via the SS238. Howeve, it passes through the center of Merano, which can be associated with delays. The detour above with exit Meran South (Sinich) is only about 6 km longer.
